Snow Day

Usually here in Michigan we get pounded with snow during the winter. This year...not so much. Seems the East Coast is getting the majority of it! I like snow...I don't have a problem with it...if it is going to be cold out I would rather there be snow on the ground.

Last night we got about 10 inches of snow. Riley had not been out in the white stuff yet so we decided to see how she would like it. We spent about 10 minutes getting her dressed....and about 2 minuted out in the snow. Oh well...at least we got some pictures!

Happy Birthday Riley!

On Sunday January 31st Riley had her very own first birthday party.  We did a Winter ONE-derland Theme and if I do say so myself it turned out super cute! A few of Riley's baby friends showed up and of course there was a TON of family!

Being the dainty baby that she is....Rileys "smash" cake wasn't exactly smashed. More like dug into one finger at a time. It was very cute.
